Position Objective

The key overall objective of the Sales Support Specialist is to support the Sales Manager and the MSP Sales Team in meeting or exceeding revenue goals and achieving high levels of customer satisfaction. When executed successfully, this role will support the direction defined by the Sales Manager in nurturing the Sales Department’s resources and Team Members on a daily basis, towards goal achievement.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Assist with opportunity and ticket management within CRM
  •  Assist in preparing quotes/proposals and submit to Sales Team Members for approval
  • Licensing and product renewals management
  • Engage with clients when needed, through professional communication and etiquette
  • Manage and interpret customer requirements – speaking with clients to understand, anticipate and
    meet their needs
  • Communicate sales or service opportunities, customer concerns or suggestions to sales team
  • Expand value awareness of our products by communicating features and benefits of our products
    effectively to clients
  • Maintaining records of customer communications and contact information as required within CRM
  • Attending and participating in trade shows, conferences and other marketing events
  • Maintain awareness of pertinent client information, future plans, payment performance
  • Communicate client information that may affect company decisions to appropriate departments as needed
  • Document processes and procedures for Sales Department
    • Help with Lead Qualification of possible prospective clients
  • Prepare marketing collateral and giveaways for prospect and client meetings
  • Assist in preparation of client Technical Business Review Meetings
  • Assist in preparation of presentations to Engaged Prospects

Qualifications

• Microsoft Office proficiency required, especially in Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• CRM experience (ConnectWise, Autotask, TigerPaw), preferred but not required
• Working knowledge of Managed Service Sales Process, preferred but not required
• Previous Administrative Support in Clerical Environment experience
• Previous experience working with a Sales Team, preferred but not required
• Ability to execute work expectations with little to no supervision on a consistent basis
